Industrial Control System Security (ICS 2024)

Scope

We invite proposals for workshop on Industrial Control System (ICS) Security to be held at The9th IEEE International Conference on Data Science in Cyberspace. ICS security is a field of cybersecurity that focuses on ensuring the security of ICS functions, software, hardware, networks, and data. The current state of ICS security is characterized by a rapidly evolving threat landscape and an increasing number of threat types. How to combine mature AI and big data analysis technology to protect ICS from attacks and ensure the safety of personnel and facilities is the current focus of ICS security research.

The significance of organizing this workshop is to provide an overview of the current state of ICS security and to discuss the latest trends and best practices in the field. The workshop will cover topics such as zero-trust-based industrial network security access and access control, industrial control equipment firmware security analysis and enhancement, industrial control protocol vulnerability scanning and mining, active intrusion discovery and response.

We hope to bring together researchers in the field of ICS security and big data to present updated research efforts and progresses on ICS security, exchange new ideas and identify future research directions.

PAPER SUBMISSION

All submissions should be written in English and submitted via our submission system. A paper submitted to VAAL 2023 cannot be under review for any other conference or journal during the entire period that it is considered for VAAL 2023, and must be substantially different from any previously published work. Submissions are reviewed in a single-blind manner. Please note that all submissions must strictly adhere to the IEEE templates as provided at http://www.ieeedsc.org/2024/submission.html. The templates also act as a guideline regarding formatting. In particular, all submissions must use either the LATEX template or the MS-Word template. Please follow exactly the instructions below to ensure that your submission can ultimately be included in the proceedings. If you have any question on ICS2024, please feel free to contact Dr. Lijuan Xu: xulj@sdas.org.
