Big Data and Business Analytics (BDBA 2026)

Scope
We are entering a transformative era of intelligent data analytics, where the traditional three Vs of big data - volume, velocity, and variety - are now augmented by multimodal integration, generative intelligence, and real-time decision-making. Big data and business analytics today encompass more than the examination of large datasets to identify patterns, correlations, and trends. They also include the use of large language models and generative AI to create synthetic data, predict market dynamics, and personalize customer experiences at scale. These advances can support more effective marketing strategies, uncover new revenue streams, enhance customer service, and improve operational efficiency in an increasingly data-driven world.
BDBA 2026 encourages submissions on innovative technologies, methodologies, and theories in big data and business analytics. The workshop welcomes research that provides insight into the practices, challenges, and solutions of data-based business problem solving, including quantitative methods such as algorithms, econometrics, analytical modelling, and simulation.

Paper Submission
All submissions should be written in English and submitted through the DSC 2026 CMT submission system. A paper submitted to BDBA 2026 must not be under review for any other conference or journal while it is being considered for BDBA 2026, and must be substantially different from any previously published work. Submissions will be reviewed in a single-blind manner.
Workshop manuscripts should follow the Springer LNCS proceedings format. Accepted and presented workshop papers are planned to be included in the DSC 2026 Springer LNCS proceedings, subject to final proceedings approval and organizer instructions.
